The property is set in the hills with all day sun just outside of Soller as you head towards the port. The citrus and olive trees are all very beautifully kept, and the house has wonderfully homely interiors.
The bedrooms are spread out across the various levels of the house all with ensuite bathrooms and stunning views of this expansive property, and there are 3 kitchens to work with from the main commercial kitchen, to the breakfast kitchen, and the outdoor kitchen with a long dining table for 16 guests. The property has a tennis court facing the valley and a yoga / dance studio for group activities and a gym. The swimming pool is surrounded by centenary olive trees and looks onto the stunning views of this 50 acre property.
Dining at Finca Soller is somewhat of a luxury of its own. There are multiple dining areas both indoors, on open terraces or under cover. Breakfast can be enjoyed outside of the main kitchen on the terrace or under the sun rays. Lunch can be enjoyed next to the BBQ built in kitchen that is fully equipped. Dinners can also be enjoyed under cover or indoors with the age old olive press.
For the enjoyment of all, there is a playroom with a large oversized screen and projector that also has a brilliant billiards table and a myriad of games to allow all ages to choose their game and enjoy a bit of a digital detox.
The guests who choose this property for an event will enjoy an original chapel where a baptism or wedding can take place within the inner courtyard of the estate and can enjoy the front of the finca to set up the reception dinner that looks onto the majestic mountain tops of Serra Tramuntana and the valleys of Soller. ABOUT THE AREA
The town of Sóller in the northwest of Mallorca became wealthy because of the valley’s abundant citrus groves. In the 19th century, when the area was isolated from the rest of Mallorca by mountains, the oranges were shipped to France from the nearby west coast at Port de Sóller. Many locals went to work in France and returned – their fortunes duly made – to build some of the handsome Modernista properties that grace this town today.
We will share with you our daily life, the local life of Sóller and its habitants. Going to the local market, picking fresh oranges, tasting olive oils in the oldest tafona (olive press) in Mallorca, baking traditional breads with organic products, walking between almonds trees or enjoying a Mediterranean lunch in the countryside.
