The Levee is a dignified Tel Aviv address that has been restored and transformed into an eight-apartment villa for travellers to experience true luxury, design, comfort and privacy when visiting the White City.
Conveniently located in the historic Neve Tzedek district, the Levee is an oasis of tranquillity within walking distance from the bustling Rothschild Boulevard and its myriad of restaurants, boutiques, café’s, art galleries and performing art centers. Nearby you can find the Carmel Market and the Mediterranean promenade and beaches.
The Levee’s design is centered on achieving an organic connection between the rich history and magnificent original structure of the building, and the new ultra-modern and contemporary extension. The design is an architectural statement celebrating two starkly different styles, which still compliment each other perfectly.
Comprised of eight apartments of 1-4 bedrooms, loft-like interiors and industrial elements run through each unit. Stripped back walls and ceilings expose the untreated cement and in some places, pieces of seashells buried in the original 100-year-old concrete, which was made from sand sourced from the Tel Aviv shores.
With a natural and raw theme, warm, wooden flooring was chosen to complement the organic walls, balanced by minimalist lighting to contour the apartment lines and accentuate their geometric shapes. Each apartment has unique features, furnished with plush pieces from international designers.

The two 3-bedroom garden apartments make up the entire ground floor featuring charming, English inspired courtyards, wide staircases and convenient basements. The warm, interior design and spacious rooms create a homely feeling, where guests and families can feel at ease. A light, neutral colour palette creates an atmosphere similar to that of a breezy, summer villa, enhanced with contemporary and sophisticated furnishings.
Inspired by rich, Art Deco style interiors, the first floor apartments (1-bedroom and 2-bedrooms) are distinguished by the lavish materials used throughout, such as marble and velvet. The original walls have been meticulously restored, exposing the raw, rough sandstone – a tremendous contrast to the added industrial design elements and clean, minimalist lighting.
The second floor apartments are new additions to the original building, designed for the young, and the young at heart. Each 2-bedroom apartment features a surrounding sun terrace with lush greenery. The rooms are decorated with more daring and fun colours and finished with contemporary, Moroso furnishings.
Centered on a monochromatic colour palette, this more classic, 2-bedroom apartment is a serenely designed dwelling. The imposing library gathers a feeling of nostalgia, leaving guests undisturbed in this warm and cozy space.
The spacious 4-bedroom duplex penthouse apartment is the epitome of privacy. Characterised by its glass contoured master bedroom and enormous terrace, this apartment offers sweeping 360-degree views across the White City, reaching to the Mediterranean Sea. The grand bathroom features an open shower and stand-alone bath with lavish brass and marble finishing.
